Below the rose window are three panels that are different from the aisle windows in that they have much more symbolism. Each lancet has a central symbol in addition to those in the medallions of the quatre-foils. The dove is a central symbol for the presence of the Holy Spirit. That is especially meaningful since the baptismal font is placed near the window in the rear of the nave. Some of the other symbols are the anchor—hope and steadfastness; the sheaf of wheat—Christ the Bread of Life; a crown with seven stars—Christ’s triumph over death; a lamb on book—a popular depiction of Christ.
